Mudiera ("we", "us", "our") operates a halal-centred discovery, marketplace, community, business, creator, and operational platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information when you use Mudiera, including directory browsing, accounts, messaging, bookings, orders, creator tools, community features, Mudiera Pro, Mudiera AI workflows, and related services (the "Services").

  • Business and creator profile information: business names, descriptions, categories, pricing, social links, creator profile details, niche information, titles, availability, and portfolio content.
  • Content and submissions: listings, menus, products, forms, messages, direct messages, support requests, reviews, reports, uploads, blog posts, collaboration submissions, campaign content, images, video, and other media you submit.
  • Transaction and fulfilment information: order details, booking details, checkout details, payout-related details, refund requests, receipts, billing details, and delivery information.
  • Trust and moderation information: reports, complaint details, moderation flags, verification-related fields, badge selections, community feedback, and review-related information.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, profiles, permissions, subscriptions, and onboarding flows.
  • Operate discovery, directory, marketplace, community, creator, and business platform features.
  • Process payments, bookings, orders, receipts, refunds, and related support communications.
  • Power messaging, creator collaboration, campaign planning, and Mudiera Pro operational workflows.
  • Generate, display, store, and improve assistive Mudiera AI outputs and workflow suggestions.
  • Moderate content, investigate reports, enforce policies, and protect users, businesses, creators, and platform integrity.
  • Measure engagement, improve discovery quality, optimise ranking systems, and understand platform performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, rights, and legitimate interests.

AI and workflow processing

Where Mudiera Pro or Mudiera AI features are used, we may process relevant workspace context to generate drafts, task suggestions, summaries, next actions, campaign suggestions, or automation outputs.

  • AI outputs are assistive and may require human review.
  • We use available product context to support business workflows, not to transfer ownership of your business or user content.
  • We may store prompt inputs, generated outputs, edits, statuses, and related operational context to provide the feature, improve safety, and maintain service history.

How we share information

We may share information:

  • With service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, storage, fraud prevention, and payment providers.
  • With sellers, businesses, creators, or fulfilment partners when necessary to complete a transaction, booking, collaboration, enquiry, or delivery.
  • With connected payment providers, including Stripe or Stripe Connect, to process payments, subscriptions, payouts, compliance checks, and payment-related support.
  • With authorities, advisers, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the Services.
  • In connection with a business transfer, restructuring, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense of selling user data lists to data brokers.

Public and community-facing information

Some information may be visible to other users or the public depending on how you use the Services. This may include:

  • Public profile information, business pages, creator pages, listings, products, courses, events, clubs, posts, reviews, and selected media.
  • Sponsored or paid collaboration disclosures.
  • Public trust indicators, business-provided tags, or profile metadata.

Please avoid submitting personal or sensitive information that you do not want made visible through public or community-facing features.

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication, security, and session continuity.
  • Preferences and saved interface state.
  • Performance monitoring, diagnostics, and basic analytics.
  • Supporting interactive features across dashboards, messaging, and workspace tools.

See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Services and maintain accounts.
  • Preserve transaction, moderation, trust, security, audit, and platform records.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, consumer, and regulatory obligations.
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the feature used, and whether we need to keep records for safety, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, update, or delete certain personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of certain personal information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and some rights may be limited by law.

International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including where our infrastructure, service providers, or operational teams are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
